bending over I notice the skin above my knee folds just like a tusker’s years of stretch weather and keeping up with the herd have leathered the membrane that undulates and ripples when locking and unlocking the pair of joints which carry me through the world with such an analogous body part you’d think I would have gained

some elephant wisdom as to

the right paths to take but after carving figure 8's in the sand I'm taking this little sun break hoping someone will step to the front and lead me to a promised land
