In a Thousand Years - May 8, 2024

Jesus Christ has had

quite a wonderful

if not bloody run

for two thousand years

Judaism somewhat longer

if not as great and gory

with Islam a bit shorter

but grand and grisly as well

now a new savior has risen

Artificial Intelligence which

promises an all-powerful

all-knowing reign on earth

notice the reverence applied

in capital letters like the Father

and the Son with an apparently

unneeded deleted Holy Ghost

Yes  AI  the deity created

by man in his image and

not the other way around

which makes me wonder

in a thousand years

if we’ll have a God with

no followers  no admirers

no worship or prayer

no need for flesh and blood
