Intentions of a Tourist - Sept. 28, 2020

Gary Hunter

I can almost see your soft spots

we all have them like a newborn’s

but no longer physical hidden

on your infant body of emotion

yielding vulnerable

naked untouched

the innocent areas

oh don’t worry my intentions

are purely those of a tourist

attracted to rare and unusual sights

I would never lay a hand

on any of the places

where God has left an impression
