Mostly Catch and Release - Aug. 5, 2021

Gary Hunter

on the cusp

of finishing a poem

and fishing for a splashy

finale I know my secret bait

between a keeper and some

larger prize I’d just love

to hold up and show off

but which won’t fit

in the tight space

of my creel
