in darkness we always act

rigid and stiff careful for

danger the need for safety

where in light we flex our

muscles to push and pull life

lift days with need desire


take yellow moon light

while shadows flee in straight angles

I bend around clouds

to catch its radiance

only to hold the night

in my soft hands
