Where's the Fun in That? May 14, 2021

Have you noticed how age

tightens the noose

around a lot of things?

the large stable of friends

extended small talk

dishonesty

caring what people think

no wonder many old people

hate large cocktail parties

like I do

for us it’s about time investing

how much joy can we squeeze

out of the time we have left

and then there’s those

drunken juveniles we hear

having way too much fun

long after we’ve gone to bed
